Oryctes Rhinoceros Trap

Tools for monitoring and mass trapping the coconut rhinoceros beetle, using synthetic aggregation pheromones (ethyl 4-methyloctanoate) to lure both male and female beetles. These traps are commonly set up in oil palm and coconut plantations, with the goal of decreasing beetle populations and preventing damage by capturing them.
